In just four short years, SAP users have rocketed into a wide range of cloud-based services, nearly tripling their investment (+37%) since 2018. This explosive growth has spanned multiple industries, with many business areas showing stability or growth in year-over-year comparisons.
The trend to cloud migration promises to maintain its rate of acceleration: 62% of those not currently using cloud services have plans to incorporate them in the future – with 53% of them looking at implementation within 1-2 years.
ASUG and Syntax have teamed up annually since 2017 to offer research around SAP customers’ experience with the cloud, exploring such topics as cloud expenses, what types of clouds customers are using, and the challenges and benefits experienced along the way.
